CalcXLite is a scientific calculator that allows users to input equations as text strings and create custom functions.

Equations can be entered directly as text strings.
Supports various elementary functions.
Custom functions can be entered, loaded, and saved.
Users can name custom functions and provide unit and content descriptions.
Any alphanumeric character can be used for variable names.
Calculation history is displayed on the scroll.
Operates in both portrait and landscape modes.

CalcXLite offers the possibility to store frequently used formulas or complex equations for quick access. Each stored formula can have a description to avoid confusion. Interactive variable input allows easy substitution of values to compare results. Calculation results can be converted into engineering notation with the eng+ and eng- keys, displaying exponents in multiples of three. This feature is beneficial for unit changes involving prefixes such as Giga and Mega.
